What is the NWTF?
The NWTF — National Wild Turkey Federation — is a non-profit organization who is the leader in upland wildlife habitat conservation in North America. Founded in 1973, the NWTF is headquartered in Edgefield, S.C., and has local chapters in every state and Canada.
Members of the NWTF are champions of conservation, as many practices that are beneficial to wild turkeys are also beneficial to other wildlife species. According to many state and federal agencies and various conservation organizations, the restoration of the wild turkey is arguably the greatest conservation success story in North America's wildlife history. Union County (Ohio) is a testament to this success!
